Provide guidance, assistance and support to all Company & subcontractor personnel in all
HSEQ related matters.
• Implement established company procedures, policies and work instructions to promote safety.
• Coordinating and arranging all monthly HSE meeting at site management level.
• Conducting HSE induction and other in house HSE training for the employees. Ensure that the
workforce understands safety requirements, procedures and rules through an onsite orientation. • Participating in site inspections with high profile tours by management.
• Carryout daily inspections of assigned areas, monitor site conditions, work practices and safety
compliance. Ensure that unsafe work condition practices are corrected by supervisor.
• Attending weekly, monthly, and emergency meetings with clients and report on company
safety performance.
• Conduct safety talks on regular basis and ensure they are being done in a professional and
capable manner. Maintain record of all training and attendance for audit purpose.
• Issue safety violations notices / memo of dangerous occurrences and practices.
• Make sure the basic welfare facilities at site like; Basic first Aider, Shaded Rest Area, cold water,
emergency vehicles, toilet, full PPE, emergency numbers with all work force, and emergency
evacuation procedure etc.
• Inspection of light and heavy vehicles, equipments and getting clients approval.
• Inspection of power and hand tools, tackles, lifting equipments and accessories, and material
handling machineries, scaffolding etc.
• Inspection of life saving equipments like; Fire extinguishers, Fire Hose Real, H2S monitors, Escape
Hoods, , General alarm system, Water sprinklers, Heat/Smoke detectors,
• Submitting monthly records HSE activities to the HSE Manager & Clients.
• Accident investigation, reporting and recommendation, follow up procedures and back up
training.
• Ensure the safety of sub contractor at site.
• Monitor work permits shall be obtained prior to any work commencing and work shall be carried
out in accordance with specific measures itemized on the permit.
• Preparing scenario for emergency exercise and drills. Conducting and preparation of records
on mock drills, and liaising with client and ensuring the safety standards.
• Make sure Health and Hygiene condition is as per standard in residential camp.
• Checking health and hygiene condition and HACCP analysis for food serving department.
Making routine and surprise Inspections and audit to maintain the standard.
• Ensure apposite attitude with all personal to ensure the safety standards are complained with
continual improvement.
• To ensure all required sign boards, notices, posters and others safety related literature is properly
displayed for employee’s information.
• Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work
assignments and work techniques.
• To monitor online IVMS (In Vehicle Monitoring System) to control vehicle management system,
and established journey management system.
• Ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of Company Safety Management System (SMS).
• Participated in pre-task planning/method statements and reviews of JHA for site activities.
• Reviewed accident/incident investigation and contractor incident reports for completeness.
• Assisted in creating comprehensive project schedule for all new projects, crew training, flag endorsement, certificate renewal and periodic medical examination of work personnel.
• Performed safety walk-throughs/inspection of facilities and work areas and submits findings with recommendation on improvement and work practices.
• Assisted in maintaining replacement of Safety and work equipment and maintenance of supply inventories and placing orders when necessary.
• Assisted in developing and maintaining work and maintenance schedules.
• Assisted in registration of new built company vessel with flag, coordinate with Classification society and arranges mandatory surveys and inspections on the hull and mechanical components of the ship.
• Ensured regular periodic servicing of ship LSA and FFA.
• Review, analyze and report all HSE accidents, incidents and near misses, investigate the root cause and make corrective action recommendations.
• Coordinate with ship staff during Internal/External Audits and ensures that all non-conformities are closed and controls monitored.
• Maintenance of Ship Registration/Class related certificates and ensures timely renewal of same.
• Ensured that annual ISM verification Audits are carried out within the stipulated period.
• Supervised the regular inspection of PPE of all employees and managing PPEs requirements.
• Monitored contractor compliance to applicable permit to work systems
• Monitored contractors’ safety performance on site as to conformance to the contractor-company HSE plans and procedures, and project objectives.
• Provided technical advice on HSE issues or queries and provides advice and assistance aimed at emphasizing safe behaviors, increasing safety awareness and reducing incident ASAP.
• Monitored the Safety and Pollution Prevention aspects of job operations to ensure that the same complies with the SMS.
• Investigated reported non-conformanities, provided controls and monitored adequacy of the controls for close out.
• Participated in both internal and external audits of the SMS.
• Programmed Safety meetings, Management Review meetings and keeping records of same.
• Identify training requirements with respect to shore based personnel involved with the SMS.

Assigns work locations and duties to field workers and Ensures that site staff follows safe work procedures correctly and as planned.
Carries out periodic field visits and checks work rate, unsafe acts, and effect corrections where necessary.
Prepares weekly/monthly HSE Progress Report and forwards same to line management.
Carry out training and orientation workshops for new employees and prepare them for the task at hand.
