• Prepare the docking plan using ships drawing (midship section, general arrangement……
• Prepare the block arrangement
• Docking and undocking of vessels
• Responsible of the maintenance of the dry dock (gates, valves…)
• Other jobs like renewal of insulation;wire of cranes, gangway…;wood work
• Ensuring proper allocation of the manpower to each work item
• Preparation of lists of material / subcontracting if necessary
• Preparation of detailed programmes for particular work items
• Follow-up works in progress and quality
supervise and coordinate all the works and between shipyard departments for a ship repair project allover dry docking period in order to ensure repair quality, schedule following, and compliance with deadlines.
