BizLink Industry Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of BizLink Holding Inc., specializes in designing, developing, and manufacturing interconnect solutions. As a member of the IT team, I efficiently lead the IT PMO and its projects. These include ERPs (SAP S/4HANA and Business Central), Network, UCC, Workplaces, Security, and Governance, spanning 14 countries across three continents. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the organization's IT project portfolio, aligning projects with strategic goals, and prioritizing initiatives based on business objectives. Establishing project governance frameworks, processes, and standards, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and conducting project audits to assess performance and adherence. Collaborating with senior management to define IT project strategies, roadmaps, and resource allocation plans that align with the company's overall business objectives. Managing and optimizing project resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to ensure efficient project execution and successful delivery. Identifying and analyzing project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, and proactively monitoring and addressing potential issues to minimize project disruptions. Engaging with key stakeholders, including senior executives, clients, and cross-functional teams, to gather requirements, communicate project updates, and manage expectations at a senior level. Overseeing complex and interconnected projects within the portfolio, ensuring coordination, integration, and alignment across initiatives to achieve strategic goals. Preparing and presenting executive-level reports on project status, progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and budget utilization to senior management and the PMO. Driving process improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices, implementing project management methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO and across project teams. Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to local IT and project teams, promoting a high-performing and collaborative work environment, and fostering professional growth and development.
Qatar Foundation Research and Development (QF R&D) is charged with the Qatar National Research Strategy (QNRS), dedicated to making Qatar a leading center for research and development excellence and innovation. QF R&D is home to Qatar National Research Fund, a leading scientific research funding organization, and Qatar Science & Technology Park, an international hub for technology innovation and commercialization.
Accomplishments:
• Proffered technical vision, leadership & oversight required to deliver multiple large and small complex strategic IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Commanding the overall planning, execution and delivery for a wide range of IT projects - development of business applications, implementation of large off-the shelf software, roll-out of technology projects/ applications upgrades etc.
• Providing strategic leadership to the division, administering resource allocation, road mapping and architecture for future projects.
• Entrusted with lead influential role and assessment of the IT department commitments, appraised the feasibility and profitability of current/prospective projects and provided the Senior Leadership Team with full visibility of project progress regarding operational and financial performance.
• Instituting project plans, vision, scope, functional specification as well as developing technical & financial proposals.

The QNRF is a governmental funding body that supports original, competitively selected research by both local and international researchers for projects that fit with Qatar's national research strategy.
Accomplishments:
• Designed solutions to improve performance, stability and efficiency of the QNRF portals and websites.
• Bestowed with “Thanna” Award - QF R&D in 2007, and 2008 for outstanding performance.
• Guaranteed 24x7x365 support, resource and functioned as central point for coordination of incidents that arise in all environments as well as enhanced creative scheduling planning.
• Designed robust, secure, highly available technology platforms for web-related applications.
• Directed process improvement projects utilizing database/ applications to streamline manual processes and propel productivity in both internal team and corporate departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Built and maintained web infrastructure and hosting environments for the corporation. Secured and properly routed web traffic, e.g. proxying, load balancing, queueing, etc. for both internal and external web applications and web services.
• Secured web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation, establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
• Presided over day-to-day operations, development, sustainment and management of web-based applications and technologies. Administered code, design, graphics, images, text, and links, for the organization’s public website.
• Designed business process, data modeling, prototypes and what-if scenarios to finalize the requirements create the scope of work and the requirements metrics.
• Partnered with the Technical Project Manager and Applications Development teams by providing input and feedback for system development and roadmaps.
• Validated business data for purposes of establishing guidelines, variance and discrepancy analysis to determine opportunities for improved operational efficiencies.
• Developed and managed SLA to rating systems, comprise of every aspect of service, management and delivery of service at every level, including measurable KPIs, communication plan, escalation metrics, risk mitigation plan and contract termination terms.

• Founding team member of ACT’s Web Division, established roadmap for the implementation of the division strategy, delivered a wide variety of projects from mobile applications to web based and intranet applications.
• Hand-selected as Project Manager for the large and strategic project including ERP (JD Edward - PeopleSoft), portals (Bitrix - DNN) and custom applications implementation. Leveraged SDLC, XP and Agile software development methodologies.
