Responsible for implementing and support enforcing of the facility and national/local Environment, Health and Safety policies, programmes and procedures
•Ensure compliance with national/local EHS regulations and facility directives,
•Assist line management in all injury investigations and all significant near miss reports to ensure root cause and corrective action is identified. Audit effectiveness of all corrective actions.
•Responsible for incident reporting (all categories as defined by Corporate).
•Conducts EHS-related training for all staff, e.g., fire drills, health and safety, evacuation drills, behavioural training etc.
•Promote and champion safe behaviours and protection of the environment throughout the site.
•Conduct risk assessments for the Egypt site and the processes run on the site.
•Conduct EHS inspections / audits for the site to drive continuous improvement.
•Act as a liaison with the community and local government authorities on EHS issues
•Manage emergencies and perform follow-up investigation
•Preparation of emergency procedures
•supervising on ( ISO 14001)& (OHSAS 18001) management systems
