Currently working as Electrical Engineer - Process & System Enhancement at VP-Office of Distribution (Power) - New Connections (from August-2011) and responsible for the following activities.
1. SAP system developments for Process enhancements and implementation within the sub-division. Project Manager / Coordinator from the business side. Finalizing the business requirement document, Blue Print documents, Process maps, functional specifications, UAT and follow up coordination for project progress.
2. Master data management - monitoring of master data created in SAP as per department activities under the sub-division.
3. Lean Management & Re-engineering in the process activities within the sub-division/departments.
4. Performance Management - Monitoring the performance of department’s activities handled by the sub-division. Ensure adherence in targeted KPIs. SLA coordination with internal departments & divisions.
5. Resources Optimization & reporting. Productivity assessments, finalizing the norms, monitoring and reporting.
6. IMS/QMS coordination on behalf of the sub-division.
7. ERM coordination on behalf of the sub-division.
8. Bench marking coordination on behalf of the sub-division.
9. Doing Business Project Coordinator for getting electricity enhancements.
Worked as Electrical Engineer - Building Permits at Power NOC Section (from August-2008 to July-2011) and responsible for designing load approvals of distribution transformers, issuing Electricity NOC for building permits and giving clearance for shifting or cancellation of existing substations by using Arc GIS, E-Services, Reflection System, Load Monitoring System, Database, etc.
In addition to routine works, responsible to prepare process flow chart, productivity reports, performance reports and statistics reports as recommended by Management.
Contributed to study & resolve the issues to minimize process stock of NOC Section and an introduction of Lean Management Methodology along with McKinsey Consultant and Business Re-Engineering Team.
Achieved Distinguished Employee Award of Year 2009 in recognition of contributions to Business Re-Engineering Process and Achieved Distinguished Employee Award - Creativity for Fourth Quarter of Year 2009.
Worked as Electrical Engineer at Project Execution - Distribution Power and was responsible for certification, control & monitor of contractor’s work related to cable Installation, feeder panel installation, road crossing duct installation & cable Jointing works.
In addition to routine works, contributed to implement productivity system as a Champion along with CANNIZARO Consultant. Studied and recommended norms allocation, assess manpower requirements, revised process flow, introduced gang control method, prepared skills matrix, prepared top management review process etc for improvement of the department’s activities.
