-Designing storage tanks including above ground storage tanks, underground storage tanks and pressure vessels, according to international codes such as API 650, ASME section XIII, UL 142, UL 58, BS 799-5, EN 12285-1 & 2, and all required safety codes including but not limited to NFPA 30, NFPA 30A, NFPA 11, NFPA 15, NFPA 13, API 526, API 520-1 & 2, API 521, API 2000, API 2510.
-Preparing the PWPS for 3rd party testing.
-Designing the cooling sprinkler lines for the storage tanks as well as for the pressure vessels.
-Sketching the P&ID diagram for the storage tanks and pressure vessels to perform their requested tasks in the most safe way and efficiently.
-Supervising on the production process of all steel construction at the workshop and the erection on site and performing all the required tests for a certain project such as Liquid penetrant test, hydrostatic test, pneumatic tests, vacuum tests, of course all tests depends on the application and project.
-Project manager; each project needs a project manager to manage all the tasks to the most efficient resources to finish the project with the high quality possible in a short time frame.
-Project procurement engineer; procurement all material (grade, thickness, shape, etc...) and accessories according the requested specifications and as per international codes such as EN 10025, EN 10034, API 526 for pressure relief valves and API 2000 for emergency relief vents and P/V vents.
-Maintaining contact with the local market and foreign markets to introduce to the project the most reliable and sophisticated products, such as Siemens, Morrison Bros., OPW, REGO, Emerson.
-Shop drawings and fabrication drawings for all steel construction projects with their respected tolerances. (storage tanks and structural steel).
-Plasma CNC cutter operator.

The rotary cement kiln started showing some signs of instability caused by sever corrosion, which caused the company to plan a shell section replacement project.
I took this project as my final year project, and my job was to:
1) Investigate and compare the kiln's current stability with its original stability ( in the year 1997) using ANSYS.
2) Make a proper decision involving which section to be replaced.
3) Pick a new metal for the new kiln shell.
4) Make a detailed welding calculation and to choose the optimum welding process and its procedures, including choosing the electrode/flux, welding time, the welding parameters and the residual stress.
5) Design and optimize the frame steel structure that should support the kiln during cutting, welding, and alignment.
6) Suggest some methods for the alignment procedure (new kiln shell and old kiln shell).
7) Suggest some methods to protect the kiln shell from further corrosion.

-Preventive maintenance using the manufacturer's -manual.
-Preventive maintenance using vibration measurement and tribology.
-General maintenance (kiln, ball mill, quarry crushers, conveyor belts, inspection and repair).
-Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for industrial mechanical equipment and
auxiliaries for the whole process of the cement manufacturing.
