It is a very interesting experience to join a huge multi-vendor integrator like GizaSystems.
Specially, for a Data Center Engineer. We cover many sites within Egypt, Gulf & Africa dealing with many products from many vendors.
Technical Skills:

- Implementation, configuring and supporting Oracle Sparc M series servers, Cisco UCS Servers, HP Proliant Servers and Fabric Interconnect Switches.
- Supporting Dell emc Storage Systems like VNXe & Clariion.
\[Software\]
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Server: (GPO, Kiosk, AD, DNS, DHCP, Local Backup & Restore, Remotely Backup & Restore, Hyper-v, Creating Scheduled tasks using ADK & MDT tools, iscsi luns ...etc).
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server: (Transactional Replication between 2 standalone connected SQL servers, SSMS, Restore database, ...etc )
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Solaris 11 OS: (Ldoms, Zones, LDAP, NTP, .....etc).
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Redhat / Centos 6 & 7: (Apache, MySQL, Local Repository, NTP, DNS, LUNs, ...etc).
- Installing, configuring and troubleshooting VMware’s hypervisor (ESXI 6).

- \[Monitoring Tool\] Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Zabbix software.
- \[Security Tool\] Installing, configuring and troubleshooting Trend Micro’s different products such as Deep Security Manager, OfficeScan, Vulnerability Protection, ScanMail for Microsoft Exchange, Portal Protect for SharePoint and Control Manager on Windows.
Non-Technical Skills:
- Working as a trainer for the university students as part of summer training program in GizaSystems.
- Making presentations to my team with self-studied topics as a part of knowledge share.
- Designing LLD of implemented environment including all information about Power connections, Cabling, IPs, Host names in a well-arranged way.
