As a Government Relations Officer the candidate would be responsible for processing and carrying out all transactions relating to visas, medical insurances, permits, licenses, registration, pertaining to employees, liaising with various Government Departments and Agencies, etc. He will be responsible for the Government related activities for staff and the college in the Human Resource Department.
• Process all types of visas including employment visas, residence visas, and visitor’s visas
• Responsible for all Government Relations Procedures (Change of Sponsorship, Issuance of new Iqama’s, Renewal of Iqama’s, Iqama Transfers, processing Visa documents, Exit Reentry Visa, Final Exit Visa etc.).
• Medical Insurance for all staff: Addition, deletion, renewal, CCHI activation, reimbursement, follow-up, invoice and installments follow-up i.e.; coordinate with the finance depot to make sure all is paid in timely manner.
• Employment Letters: All types of employment letter i.e. Bank account opening, Driver license letter, Isteqdam letters, reference letter, no objection letter etc.
• Keeping a track of the expiry dates of the visas, Iqamas, Passports, Medical Insurance Cards, etc. and informing the employees well in advance.
• Attestation of legal documents from chamber of commerce
• Be up to date with regard to any changes or amendments to the prevailing laws / rules/ regulations, changes in forms / formats and other procedures and keep the Human Resources Department advised of such changes
• Submit relevant documents periodically to the immigration / labour office with regard to cancelled / absconding employees and delete from the college’s sponsorship list.
• Complete departure and exit formalities for employees after cancellation of visas
• Obtain quarterly sponsorship reports from the immigration / labour office and tally sponsorships and re-submit to immigration / labour office with relevant support documents.
• Developing excellent relations with all Government Offices
• Updating & Maintaining the Employee information
• Proactive and advance notification about any changes in government rules & regulations.
• Process, forwards & Collects legal documents related to the malls contracts Ministry of Labour and Immigration, Passport office, Airport, sea port, STC, Municipality etc
• Developing excellent relations with all Government Offices

• Documentation control for all types of licenses for the college (SAGIA, COC, CR, ZAKAT, GOSI, etc.)
• Supporting in the renewal of all the licenses for the college.
• Maintaining a process chart for each government related process.
Worked at the hospital (which is a branch of the Medical Group) on an Executive Secretary job for the General Manager. In addition I was assigned to doing some other tasks such as fixing Errors of the Internal network of hospital program and reception. As well as doing follow up with maintenance issues to hospital departments.
