Duties:
-Manage MERO budget, track project spending, and report budget issues to the Regional Head of Finance.
-Prepare budget and financial report.
-Handle yearend financial routines, audits, and interactions with external auditors.
-Reconcile bank and balance statements and summarize project finances.
-Record regional expenses in the Agresso system.
-Monitor the regional budget and inform the regional head of finance about spending status.
-Reconcile regional office expenses with those recorded in country programs.
-Maintain and manage monthly Budget vs. Actuals report.
-Ensure compliance with financial procedures and rebook regional costs as needed.
-Prepare and consolidate grant report for donor.
-Assist with HR updates and capacity building for finance units.
-Support Finance Managers in the Middle East region.
-Contribute to the development of regional Standard Operational Procedures.
-Assist with training and workshops for MERO staff.
-Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the line manager.
