1 Manage the corporate credit assets “within discretionary delegated authority”, including credit assessment, approval and monitoring of obligor level credit proposals. 4 Contribute to the preparation of the budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified
5 Monitor program and portfolio performance, perform analysis of new initiatives and programs and provide recommendations
6 Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
7 Organize and supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the activity is carried out in an efficient manner which is consistent with operating procedures and policy
8 Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to subordinates to support their overall development
9 Ensure that the credit remedial processes within the bank are operating effectively and efficiently toward achieving high credit recovery standards
10 Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel in dealing with classified accounts to ensure implementation of best legal strategies
11 Prepare departmental MIS statements and reports timely and accurately to meet CBQ and department requirements, policies and standards
12 Set and manage credit evaluation standards in line with the regulatory requirements as well as the internal credit policy and risk appetite requirements, within defined turnaround time
13 Ensure reporting on the credit classification, provisions, write offs, suspension of profit and provision write-backs on periodic basis is in accordance with QCB regulations and bank’s policies and regulations pertaining to credit administration
14 Establish and implement special assets management policies for management of classified assets
15 Contribute towards formulation of strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures to support divisional and bank's business strategy

Scope of work encompassing, marketing, credit, and risk assessment of new and existing customer base to maximize the division's profitability at convenient risk/return parameters. i'm the most senior staff in the contracting division, over the last 4 years I've been acting division head with full delegated authorities & responsibilities in case of absence of the Division Head. Over the last four years, the assigned loan portfolio has been witnessing significant growth in terms of size, bottom line profitability, ROA and ROE exceeding 340% as of date. Actively involved on annual basis in Gulf Bank corporate banking strategic planning.

During my service in CIB (the largest joint venture bank in Egypt, most profitable bank in Egypt-1994-1999) I’ve been exposed to vast exposure not only in Corporate Banking, but also in investment banking. That complemented the theoretical exposure with hands on experience in (Corporate Finance, M&A, IPOs, LBOs and Investment valuation...etc). in addition to managing loan portfolios in different industry sectors, such as automotive, tourism, electronics’ ..
