The primary responsibility of a Tender analyst involves but is not limited to:
• Manage end-to-end bid processes for assigned customers;
• Identify opportunities and prepare and submit most cost-effective offers
• Build tender dashboards to help track opportunities, monitor tender progress and bids outcomes
• Conduct prices and profitability analysis for each J&J distributors / direct costumers order / tenhder (within the above-mentioned region), using tools & online solution in place, to determine optimal offers.
• Review and manage RFQs
• Proactively manage full Tender Lifecycle (Pre-tender, Quotation, Award, Post Tender Stages) in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain teams, as well as the wider business, while ensuring prompt completion and driving value on each submission.
• Proactively support the pre-tender phase; attend meetings and provide information as required.
• Run tender Win/Loss analysis & pricing simulations to optimize offers.
• Share tender performance metrics with relevant stakeholders (per BU / Market…).
The primary responsibility of a procurement analyst is to ensure the successful delivery of BravoSolutions suite of strategic Supply Management and Sourcing solutions, (requirements gathering, clients needs assessments…) and execute all related implementation & post implementation activities for the assigned client (training, implementation…).
Following are the implementation projects I was assigned to: Ontario Tenders (Ontario - Canada), DP World (UAE), Ministry of Energy / REPDO (Renewable Energy Project Development Office)- Saudi.
• Supported a Renewable Energy Project with the deployment of strategic eProcurement suite from project kick-off to implementation, leading to the submission of the world lowest-ever bid for a Renewable Energy Tender. (Sakaka Solar Project Saudi). -
• Created and maintained relationships with the client & over 1, 500 suppliers in the Renewable Energy Industry across the globe.
• Maintained and documented any established contracts and those in progress.
• Communicated and presented progress and other relevant information to internal stakeholders.
• Developed a Vendor Management & Performance Evaluation model to ensure all recruited suppliers meet the clients evaluation criterion.
• Developed a Suppliers Matchmaking policy adopted by Ontario Tenders (Canada) to foster the adoption of services and hence, generate more suppliers memberships revenues.
• Developed comprehensive support & training materials (Ppt., Camtasia Video tutorials, Pdf. Guides) & Conducted several suppliers training sessions. (for DP World & REPDO).
• Coaching new recruits to the division & elaborating knowledge appraisals to identify learning and development needs for the Supplier Engagement Function at Tejari.
• Supervising a call center division of 7 staff and promoting of Tejari Solution & services.
• Developing excellent client relationships with clients - (DUBAI Main Government bodies: DHA, RTA, DED, DP World, Dubai Police; Dubai Municipality; DEWA…) & helping them generate important savings through the selection of relevant and competitive bidders to their requirements.
• Contributing to the elaboration of a new category tree.
• understanding assigned clients tenders, identify relevant suppliers, create awareness among those suppliers and assist them in submitting their bids & and recording suppliers feedback.
• Monitoring assigned SE Interns performance & identifying learning needs and areas for improvement.
- Reviewing and updating Tejari suppliers contact information on a daily basis.
- Carrying out Telephone based communications and negotiations with various suppliers, attending their incoming calls & Responding to e-mails in a professional and timely manner.
- Successfully on-boarding new interns and guiding them through daily matchmaking activities continuously.
- Advising on restructuring buyer requirements in order for their auctions to close successfully)
- Responsible for handling major accounts such as The Emirates Group; Islamic Affairs; Dubai World and DP World and Dubai Police.
- Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with suppliers and staff members.
- Preparing, elaborating and submitting activity reports in a proper and organized time- frame
