Working as a Research Assistant in the advanced Fibers and Bio Fuel Laboratory and involved in the project for the development & characterization of materials for Li batteries and dye-sensitized solar cells. Research corrosion & electrochemical and thermal, mechanical and chemical testing and characterization of materials.

Research Internee at Global Foundries
  • Germany
  • July 2011 to September 2011

To perform detailed defect analysis on nanometer level of microprocessors by using advanced equipment such as atomic force microscopy (AFM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).

Inspection Engineer at ENGRO POLYMER AND CHEMICALS LTD. (EDC/VCM)
  • Pakistan - Karachi
  • July 2009 to August 2010

Worked as an Inspection/ Corrosion Engineer, responsible for QA/QC of Plant stationary equipment such as Tanks, Pressure Vessels and Valves etc. I was also a part of the team working on the root cause analysis of the equipment and parts failure.
Milestone: I successfully found out the root cause of failure of thermo-wells, in a pressure vessel, which were failing after every six months and provided a permanent solution to the problem.
