• Carrying out inspection tests for determining the effectiveness of the equipment and plant keeping in view the performance, safety & quality standards.
• Commissioning and startup of instruments like Flow Transmitters, Pressure Transmitter, Level Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, control Valves etc.
• Work with vendors for commissioning and startup of Compressors, MRUs and other vendor packages.
• Working on Field Foundation & Hart Communication protocols
• Validations of SIS (Safety Instrument System) and make sure all the logics are as per SRS.
• Validate Electrical Motor and VSD loops as per specifications.
• Review Control philosophy, P&IDs, ILDs, Hookups, cause and effect and SPI datasheets.
• Reviewed instrument loop packages and records the various stages of loop testing during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Familiar with ABB 800XA DCS Environment.
• Witness during Loop check that the Instrument and DCS faceplate is as per Data Sheet, ILD and P&ID.
• Involve in RFI's, MCPN, Box-up walkthroughs from Instrument side and witness all the Instruments are in good shape and as per Hookups.
• Contributor in SAP implementation of the preventative maintenance program.
• Worked as an Electrical and Instrument Engineer in Poly-condensation Petro-Chemical Plant.
• Testing, calibration and maintenance of filed instruments such as pressure, level, temperature and flow transmitters and indicators.
• Improve quality of Instrument through in time preventive maintenance of equipment through proper planning with minimum repeat jobs and minimizing breakdowns.
• Worked on VFDs of Siemens, Puma, Frenic, L.G. and Danfoss for motor speed control on closed and open loop system.
• Troubleshooting of Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens and Fatek PLC based systems.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of different electrical equipment, control panels, and distribution panels and Motor Control Centers (MCCs) whenever required
• Prepare, update and review Job Plans, Work Instructions and Procedures for instrument maintenance so that up-to-date guidance and procedural coverage is available to all concerned.
• Maintaining records, preparing reports and other correspondence relative to work.
• Scheduling, planning and organizing work history of all maintenance activities.
Worked on project in Pakistan Cables of Drum twisting machine. Worked as Assistant Engineer responsibilities include laying of cables and cable tray as per drawings and documents, installation of various equipment and test them accordingly, Wiring of PLC Siemens S7-300 to control various equipment. After commissioning and start-up responsible for troubleshooting and maintenance of Machine and customize as per user requirement.
