School Foundation- In a team effort worked towards the school opening.

• MYP Personal and Community Project Coordinator: In this leadership position I ensured that the whole school was acquainted with the projects. I held workshops and orientations for students, parents and school staff to help them understand their different roles and responsibilities within the projects. The projects are an important component of the IB MYP, they give students the opportunity to help their community and/or show their learning experiences through the creation of original and innovative projects. I also took part on the Personal Project monitoring process.

• DP Extended Essay Supervisor: As an extended essay supervisor my role is to guide students through a research based paper on a topic that has been chosen by the students. The extended essay is a crucial component of grade 12 students’ attainment of the IB

• Responsible for extra-curricular activities like: a student made newsletter and the “Student of the Month" initiative that had as an aim to encourage students’ adequate behavior and academic progress in the school.

• In conjunction with a whole school effort, helped promote the school from Band C to Band B, during the Abu Dhabi Educational Council school evaluation process.

•Teaching English to grades 9 and 10. The students’ learning-acquisition process in the English subject was developed through diverse teaching strategies. Teaching materials like units of works, worksheets and assessment tasks were created to meet students’ needs.

• Teaching English as a second language to five groups of 7th graders. The students’ learning-acquisition process in the English subject was developed through diverse teaching strategies. Teaching materials like units of works, worksheets and assessment tasks were created to meet students’ needs.

• Responsibilities and duties in Star Marketing network:

-Market and sell a diversity of products to the general public
-Introduce new products to the general public
-Promotion of diverse products in organized events like festivals and store openings
