I had responsibility for managing revenue growth on the region’s leading monthly construction title Big
Project magazine, and successfully sold across 3 other trade titles in the division.
I had sole revenue responsibility for managing the magazine, various brand extensions and events.
Alongside the weekly publication I managed numerous revenue priorities across the various brand extensions, and guides selling successfully across the group.
Developed and grafted out key relationships with agencies and critical group accounts.

Enforced a yield increase drive, which resulted in increasing long standing yields by an average of 35% • Significantly contributed to other group regional platforms, Appeared constantly in top 5 performers across the group only after regional directors • Strategically grew existing accounts by 25% and new business by 40%.
•Turret Media are the publishers of Abu Dhabi Week, - the regions highest circulating magazine. I successfully managed an assigned roster of clients working mainly client direct.
•Alongside Abu Dhabi week, I had sole responsibility for Abu Dhabi Week’s Sister Monthly Publication, Abu Dhabi Life and I left the company when this title was closed to focus on the core title.
•Explorer is the region’s largest publisher of niche lifestyle guides. Working on their Annual publications, I was instrumental to the commercial success of the Dubai Visitors Guide and Dubai Residents Guide
•Successfully hit targets on the various specialist guides the group publish. Additionally closed numerous large contract publishing deals. Opened up several new previously unexploited sectors for the group.
Notable Achievements:
Closed the highest single deal values on Explorer’s core titles • Top group performer for two months within 4 months of joining • Highest client re book rate of any sales manager • Secured critical annual sponsorship deal within 6 months of joining. • First sales manager to hit annual targets 7 months into role.
•7DAYS is the largest circulating Newspaper in Dubai. Account managing major brands for the newspaper at C-Level I worked against depressed market conditions growing revenue while developing mutually beneficial long term relationships between my roster of clients and the newspaper.
•I identified, nurtured and strategically grew new sectors by creating various platforms and managed a team of three others on projects.
•I won numerous large campaigns at 7Days for local and international brands successfully cross selling into distribution, display and digital platforms to achieve campaign goals.

Increased spend from hospitality sector by 40% • My platforms contributed to market share growth of the newspaper by 30% within 6 months • I closed the highest single sale direct business booking • Devised a new to market magazine to tap into Health & Beauty sector • I devised and managed a weekly dining feature and several ‘first-to- market’ advertorial supplements which successfully taped into unexploited sectors •
•Synaxis was the region’s largest digital ambient media owner. Selling against traditional OOH Media in the Capital I sold across digital screen media networks in 3 of the largest malls in Abu Dhabi and outdoor in the capital meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
•I worked on numerous campaigns for regional tourism authorities and Government bodies. I left Synaxis when their Dubai office had closed.
•Outdoor Exchange was the region’s only specialist Out-Of-Home Media planning and buying agency.
•I pitched, acquired and managed numerous high-ticket campaigns, through strategic outdoor media selection with access to over 100, 000 Outdoor Media sites via 250 media owners in 63 countries across Africa, Middle East and the Sub-Continent.
•Took management of all aspects of regional outdoor media campaigns from site selection to planning with Clients / Agencies, rate negotiation with Media Owners, and campaign execution. Pitching to and managing a roster of key clients and assigned agencies at all levels.
Notable Achievements
• Won regional outdoor campaign for Sony Pictures’ Angels & Demons GCC release which spanned several GCC Countries • Won National Bonds first ever Outdoor Media Campaign which spanned across 5 different outdoor media types • Through creative selling I won AGMC’s Mini ‘Unleash the Beast’ campaign which revolved around several show unique show pieces in Media City • Won and managed one of the largest Dubai Airport Cityscape ad Campaigns for ‘Chapel World’
