• Live Production Department:
Procured live chickens, both 30 days old and day-old chicks, from external farms. Ensured strict adherence to standardized contracts to maintain the company's safety and quality standards.
• Hatchery:
Oversaw the meticulous procurement of Hatching Eggs from both local and foreign suppliers. Managed disease risks and ensured hatchability met the company's standards, never falling below 80%. Orchestrated flight schedules with foreign suppliers and ensured timely shipment clearances to safeguard hatchability and product quality.
• Feed Mill:
Managed the procurement of vital raw materials, including additives and chemicals, crucial for the internal feed mill operations. This involved sourcing from both local and foreign suppliers.
• Chicken Farms (Owned and Outsourced):
Facilitated the procurement process for materials needed for owned chicken houses. Additionally, sourced extra live chickens from local farms, guaranteeing they met the company's stringent quality standards.
• Processing Plant:
Orchestrated the procurement of all necessary raw and packaging materials from local and foreign suppliers. This process was meticulously aligned with sales forecasts. Oversaw the acquisition of production lines, whether extensions within existing lines or from foreign manufacturers, all under the jurisdiction of the procurement department.
• QA & R&D:
Procured essential vaccines, additives, and chemicals required for farms, hatcheries, and various other departments. Ensured rigorous compliance with government-mandated certifications and safety standards. Implemented stringent pest control and fumigation measures across the organization.
• Supply Chain:
Spearheaded negotiations and established contracts for warehouses, cold stores, and sales offices nationwide. Contributed to crafting effective inventory management strategies to prevent stock shortages.
• Transportation:
Coordinated the procurement of an extensive range of vehicles, from sedans to trailers, along with heavy machinery for farm repairs and construction needs. Additionally, managed vehicle rental and maintenance contracts to ensure the reliability of the fleet.
