Project Preview, Duties & Responsibilities:
Working in Alfanar “Water and Power Division” as a Project Engineer on various EHV (380KV) Close-out Projects & Ongoing HV (115KV) Projects. All these are the EPC contracts.
Appointed in Alfanar Construction as a Project Engineer on “115/13.8KV Dammam Housing Substation-01” Indoor GIS substations, signed between National Grid, SA (The Client) & Alfanar Construction Company (The Contractor) in September 16, 2015.
 Regularly monitoring the Project Progress i.e. Status of Procurement, Status of Design & Construction, Installation, Erection & Testing/commissioning.
 Mainly responsible for design coordination activities, equipment ordering, for handling commercial/technical issues, technical evaluations of the vendors offers & vice versa.
 Coordination involved with design consultants for the preparation & finalization of the base design & detail design of following major equipment stated below.
o 115kV HV GIS 10 Bays (Double bus single breaker configuration scheme),
o 13.8 kV Metal Clad Switchgear (48 Bays),
o 50/67 MVA Power Transformers (ONAN & ONAF Type with Dyn1 vector group),
o Complete Protection, Control, Metering & SAS System,
o LV AC/DC System,
o Telecom (FOX515) Substation Control System (SCS),
o 7 MVAR Capacitor banks,
o 2000 OPZS Battery & Battery Charger
o Base & Detail Design for Civil Works
o Base & Detail Design for HVAC, FF & FSS.
o Lighting and Small Power works, LV and MV cabling system and remote end modification works.
 Mainly responsible for the preparation of submittals, pertaining to all major & minor equipment’s by complying the Project Technical Specifications (PTS). S

 Organizing “The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) & QC Inspections in the vendor’s facilities for all major equipment.
 Hiring “Third-Party Inspectors (TPI)” for the inspection of equipment that will not be witnessed by the client.
 Working for the closing of Non- compliance reports (NCR’s) & Punch lists.
 Preparation of the bi-weekly reports & MOM’s.
 Getting all responsibilities of the project with positive frame of mind, whether work is related to main scope or optional scope.
 Preparation of Material Return Requests (MRR’s) & Cataloging data for Spare parts & Special tools.
 Preparation & submission of monthly invoices to client for payment.
 Well experienced & organized for the achievement of TCC, PAC & FAC.
 Supervision of the drafting team that were preparing as built drawings in (SEEDS-II) in accordance with SEC/NG Standards.


Early Assignments:
Assigned on “50MW Solar PV Project” in “Alfanar Head office” as a Project Engineer (Electrical). It was being developed by the Subsidiary of Alfanar Company (named as Alfa Solar Co.) in Egypt. Whole unit of Alfa Solar was taking part in the closing of Conditions Precedents set out by the lenders,

Posted at 969MW Neelum Jhelum Hydro Power Project as a Junior Engineer (Electrical) by National Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd (NESPAK).
NJHPP Project, was a joint venture of the consultants mainly, MWH (USA), NORPLAN (NORWAY), NESPAK, NDC and ACE from Pakistan.
Undersigned was responsible to supervise & witness the activities executed inside the tunneled Power House & at 525KV Switchyard,
Installation/Supervision of 295MVA, Hydro-generators.
Installation Supervision of the equipment that was being installed at 525KV, AIS (Switchyard), in accordance with the approved drawings, standards & specifications.

MEP Engineer at NESPAK

During the mentioned period, undersigned was posted as MEP Engineer for the execution of next assignment by aforesaid consultancy firm on Urban Development Projects.
To supervise the under-construction activities, that were damaged in the earthquake of Oct.2015, in few districts of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. It was a re-habilitation plan. And the effectiveness/success of the plan was possible by re-construction of damaged infrastructure & by restoration of electricity & other utilities to new construction.

14 No’s of the colleges were being constructed at different locations of Azad Kashmir by the coordination of Kuwait Govt.
