o Established the OT Department at ACCEL by determining and ordering the required
standardized assessment and intervention equipment to meet the needs of all students.
o Assist in the orientation and in-service training of new staff on utilizing unified evidencebased
documentation and report writing.
o Write an Individual Education Program (IEP) and design a comprehensive OT intervention
plan including classroom modifications, assistive technology recommendations, and
consultations with teachers and other therapists
o Participate in community events to increase awareness about OT roles and responsibilities
within a special education school setting.
