BIM Manager and Technical Coordinator
Managing multiple BIM projects from the system design phase all the way to the as-built and handing over phase according to the project specifications and the BIM execution plans.
Attending weekly/monthly progress meetings with the main contractor and other subcontractors in order to resolve any clashes detected between the various disciplines.

In direct contact with contractors/consultants for technical/design purposes.
Keeping track of project related documents including IFC drawings and project specifications.
Creating reports and comparisons between the contract documents and the IFC documents which come from the main contractor so that all design changes are documented, RFI’s are sent out when required and notifications of variations are sent when applicable.
The link between the commercial and technical departments.
Specifications and Materials
Engineer - Commercial and Projects Department
Going through new project specifications, BOQs and drawings
Part of the commercial team responsible for commercial and technical submittals - Design and technical drawings.
Sending out RFIs and creating variations and comparisons if required within a project.
Creating preliminary drawings, fabrication drawings and technical shop drawings when necessary.
Dealing with various material suppliers. Sending out the necessary inquiries - Receiving and assessing quotations to check that they adhere to the project requirements.
Handling materials/material submittals for projects in hand (Louvre Museum Abu Dhabi, Al Hilal Bank Headquarters and Masdar Headquarters).
Coordinating with the material suppliers to make sure that the samples are as per the project requirements and that all the material information meets the specifications.
Preparing sample boards and documentations to be submitted to the consultant for approval.
Keeping track of all approvals. Assisting the Project manager with when necessary.
