o Taking calls
o Receive and convey messages in writing, verbally and electronically
o Meet, greet and liaise with patients and their families in a compassionate manner and make them feel comfortable
o Liaise with doctors, other health professionals and their staff
o Deal with queries and enquiries (clinical, meetings, spare parts etc)
o Manage patient appointments
o Bill patients and receive money
o File, fax and scan documents
o Prepare documents for mail-out
o Open, stamp appropriately and distribute incoming mail
o Type documents as required with a high level of accuracy
o Contribute equitably to maintaining the cleanliness of the facility
o Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the clinic
o Monitor stationery and/or clinical supply levels and place orders as required to maintain a working supply at all times.
o Book and organize staff and/or doctors meetings as directed
o Manage travel arrangements
o Prepare policies and procedures related to scope of work
o Review operating practices and implement improvements where necessary
o Participate in ongoing professional development activities
o Prepare financial reports (sales, petty cash, etc.), as requested
o Request for and follow-up on insurance approvals
