• Assess and aid in making decisions about customer credit applications using a range of criteria including purpose of application, credit viability, customer payment history and customer credit-worthiness.
• Preparing Central Bank of Jordan returns and progress reports on a monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual basis and in timely manner.
• Analysing data and providing accurate logistics to managers to help in decision making and setting credit policies in accordance with market demand.
• Providing quick assistance to front liners when required.
• Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes by identifying where loopholes and/or opportunities for improvement exist, suggesting a proper course of action to enhance the process/secure the problem, and ensuring flawless implementation of the suggested plan.
• Reviewing new operational processes suggested by an external party, and coordinating between all concerned parties to make sure they are up and running properly by drafting an action plan for approval, ensuring proper allocation and implementation of tasks, and finally creating records for closure and future reference.
• Implementing all system upgrades by carrying all possible testing input and resulting output scenarios.
• Acting as a liaison between Zain Jordan and local banks to ensure workflow runs smoothly, efficiently and at minimum cost.
• Ensuring that Zain Jordan is always solvent and able to meet its obligations at any given time through monitoring cash balances.
• Negotiating with local banks to ensure Zain Jordan gets the best possible currency exchange rates when purchasing foreign currencies.
• Preparing payments to all Zain vendors and staff in a timely manner and responding to customer inquiries/emails.
• Reconciling Zain Jordan accounts by making sure all payments have been properly deposited in the correct account and there are no discrepancies between Zain books and Zain bank accounts.
• Following up with all concerned parties should any inconsistencies between book and bank occur until the matter is resolved.
• Assisting General Ledger Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable divisions in resolving any issues that occur concerning bank deposits.
• Documenting and upgrading all treasury processes with Business Excellence department.
• Issuing bank guarantees and following up on them.
• Attending meetings with banks and vendors and briefing management.
• Handling ad-hoc requests.
