Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures

Recruitment and Selection:
• Work closely with department heads on developing job descriptions and person specifications.
• Prepare job adverts to be published on various recruitment portals and social media sites.
• Pre-screen and assess candidates before their interview for suitability and conduct interviews.
• Preparation of the employment agreement once candidates are finalized.
• Responsible for the onboarding of all new employees including induction programs
HR Database and Reporting:
• Ensure the HR Database accurately reflects current staff positions and details. This includes maintaining master data relating to all staff, contractual amendments, change of details, annual leave, and recording of sicknesses and other leave.
• Provide appropriate reports from the HR database for the purpose of auditing and monitoring employee data and training.
Onboarding and Induction
• Administer the process for new employees:- prepare offer letters, contracts and process all pre-employment checks.
• Conduct induction meetings with new employees and volunteers and liaise with the Line Manager and Mentors to ensure they are aware of their responsibility in the induction process.
• Administer the probation process ensuring Managers know when review meetings need to take place.
Learning, Development, and Training:
• Assist with the annual appraisal cycle, record completed appraisals, and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Identify development requirements.
• Organize and conduct development programs, including booking courses, liaising with providers, and arranging in-house training courses.
Payroll
• Ensure that all payroll instructions are prepared and logged in time for the monthly payroll run and submitted to the accounts department: - contractual variations, new starters, leavers, contractual benefits, and staff benefits.
• Monitor attendance, and punctuality.
• Separations
• Manage the separations process from start to finish will all employees following resignation or termination.
• Liaise with employees identified as leavers to collate exit documentation required and to coordinate clearance procedures.
• Conduct an exit interview (face-to-face) with all leavers, gather exit interview data on a regular basis and present this to the Management for review.
HR Administration:
• Ensure electronic and paper-based personnel files are maintained and filing is completed in a timely manner.
• Carry out general administration tasks for the HR Department: - sorting vacancy post, telephone answering, devising standard Human Resources documents and manage the HR mail communications.
• Manage employee movements (Recruitments/transfers/resignations) and settlements.
• Coordinating with PRO for all Government related work, including visas, department of labour documents, renewals, and licenses.
• Ensure medical insurances are in order.
• Maintain an up to date Procedures Manual for all HR Administration duties.
• Advice and Guidance
• Provide day-to-day advice to Line Managers and Employees on general HR-related queries, requests, and Company Policies and Procedures, escalating more complex issues to the Senior Management team.
• Assist in handling employee grievances and discipline issues.
Organize and maintain personnel records.
Update and following up internal databases.
Prepare and support basic HR documents - salary certificates, NOC letters, new hire, resignation guides and other documents related to employees' welfare.
Support the recruitment process by posting vacancies, arranging the interviews, follow up candidates about results and stages of interviews, giving the feedback's, track the records about recruitment stages.
Coordinating on visa application/renewal, labor card and Emirates ID application, the collection of required documents, labor contract formalities, insurance cards, and visa stamping.
Help organize and manage new employee orientation, onboarding, and training programs
Liaise with external partners, like medical insurance vendors, travel agents, and embassies in order to support company processes.
Manage and update HR databases with different information such as new hires, terminations, sick leaves, warnings, vacation and days off
Writing the organization announcements, support in external and internal communications
Arrange travel accommodations, visas processing, flights booking, and expense forms
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
