• Completed 350 Saudi Electricity Company substations including
115KV, 230BSP, 380KV and Power plants under ” SEC enterprise WAN Juniper
Network”.
• Managed WAN connectivity for customers using Medias like fiber, Ethernet, E1,
STM1, STM4.
• Prepared Scope of Work, Revised technical proposal, Base design, and Detail
design and as built drawings for the related project.
• Performed scheduling of sites for conducting site survey, installation and delivery
with contractors.
• Performed MCI/PAT and complete commissioning of Juniper Routers models
(J2350, M120, M320, SRX 550, and SRX 650) and Juniper Switches models
(Ex3200, SRX4200) for the whole project in more than 350 substations.
• Coordinated with various departments to facilitate the needs of project including
E1 circuits, STM1 links, AC/DC power supply and providing quality services under
the supervision and instructions of the Division Manager.
Metro Ethernet project (Upgrade of Communication Systems for local
offices in EOA of Saudi Electricity Company.
• Planning, managing and implementation of Metro Ethernet optical switches 3932
Ciena.
• Performed Mechanical/Physical inspection test, Functional test, Operational
tests.
• Performed commissioning and End to End Testing from Metro Ethernet
equipment to Provider Edge router at Core. During testing we analyzed data of
local offices and SCADA network at network management systems and checked
performance statistics.
• Supervised testing of fiber media form ODF to the fiber optic metro switch on
straight route and also cross connected.
• Experience with Cisco high end routers 7600 and 7200 series routers.
• Experience with Cisco 3560, 3750X, 3750G and CGR series industrial switches
and routers.

Projects and Detail

National Grid Smart Grid Services provisioning project in Saudi Electricity Company.
• I have managed of implementation tasks from Electrical equipment to the NGRID
JUNIPER WAN cloud.
• I have performed activation of different types of National Grid Services i-e AMR,
RFTU, PMU, DSM, DFR, SOE, NMS, SCADA (Control & Distribution) and also
migration of services from IT&C network. These were for more than 300 sites in
the Kingdom.
• I have managed activation of AMS-MDM under V-SAT project in Saudi Aramco
company sites.
• Performed Maintenance activities and troubleshooting tasks.
GOC (Generation and Optimization) project in Saudi Electricity Company
• Centralization of GOC (Generation optimization center) EPRIS servers for all power
plants in the kingdom.
• Activation of services on Juniper Switch EX3200 (VLAN, Trunk Ports, Access Ports,
Port Channels), so that GOC servers can be integrated.
Establishment of Security Operation Centers (SOC) Kingdom Wise
• Supervised Installation energizing of RAS servers along with Juniper switches.
• Supervised testing, commissioning and network connectivity with National Grid
Juniper Network.
Integrated Security Systems and Infrastructure Project (ISSI).
Provided coordination support for the scheduling of sites by using SAP System for opening
of LOA (Limitation of Access).
Coordinated with different departments (ISD, TSD, TMD, and AMD) for Installation,
energizing and testing of Close Circuit TV equipment.
