Being lead in charge of Etisalat Technology LABs Fixed network domain all IP core
test services for Core, Access and business networks related to the following areas
but not limited to
New Software releases/patches by vendors
New Hardware introductory by vendors
Solutions or configurations changes verification for production networks issues
New features, supplementary & business services and marketing demands
New design change verification and approval for LLD/HLD related to Mobile
core and access nodes
Acceptance of new nodes, sites and services
Proof of concept for new services or projects
Resources allocations including (physical ports, IPs, VLANs, ..etc)
Configurations deployment on the related test network node
Handling following test network IP nodes at Etisalat Technology Labs:
* Juniper T4k, MX960, M480, M320 and t1600
* Alcatel 7750SR
* Cisco CRS-8/S, Cisco ASR9K, Cisco Nexus7700, Cisco Nexus7000
* Huawei NE40E-X16 and Quidway S9312E
Co-ordination with other teams for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting,
support
* Power team for powering up new nodes
* Business team for business services test cases
* Mobile Core/Access team for mobile test cases
* Security team to deploy new routing and handover traffic from LAB to
production
* Capacity planning team for new IPv4/IPv6 pool allocation
* Design Team for evaluate/approve new requirements
Preparation and Identification of the following
* Develop/Evaluate test plan strategy
* Test reports with proper evaluation of impact of testing on the production
network
* Trace analysis with help of Wireshark
* Possible network, design issues and risk identification

Acting as a 2nd
level support for corporate customers problems
Have a high level of troubleshooting skills for customers problems including
physical and routing problems
Configuring customer’s routers from scratch until the technician installed it and
delivering services to the customers
Acting a 2nd
level support for the Field team during installation phase.
Configuring routing protocols such on customer equipment’s
Act as an escalation point to other teams for issues like bandwidth congestions in
certain nodes
Insure high availability for network equipment’s 24/7.
