As Senior Legal Counsel, I was responsible for overseeing and managing all legal matters across several key divisions within the Bank
and its subsidiaries, including Procurement (handling contracts worth over 5 billion annually) within 100% turnaround time, IT,
Administration, Retail Banking, Priority Banking, and Wealth Management. I provided strategic legal counsel, ensured regulatory
compliance, and led contract negotiations to support the banks operations and risk management. In addition, I was responsible for two
key subsidiaries - the Banks Merchant Acquiring subsidiary and ADIB Securities - advising on commercial transactions, regulatory
requirements, and operational legal issues. My role demanded a proactive and solution-oriented approach to business needs and legal
risk, fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and contributing to the Banks overall governance and commercial
