• Assist Managers in identifying organizational training needs and participate in identifying skill gaps in their teams
• Contribute to development of in-house training courses, including the content and training materials
• Deliver in house training programs for the various departments within MAF Retail in a clear and engaging way to ensure maximum retention of information and application of newly learned skills
• Support the induction program for the new joiners, to provide them with information about the organization and MAF Retail policy and procedures
• Proactively identify and seek professional development opportunities to improve leadership and technical skills pertaining to the direct line of work.
• Led team meetings regularly to discuss progress updates, identify challenges or roadblocks, and provide guidance towards successful project completion.
• Monitor and report competitor activities (prices, promotional activities etc.) to ensure competitive advantage
• Negotiate internal promotions with suppliers to enforce the image of discount inside the section
• Oversee the establishment of a competitive assortment ofer
• Stay informed about competition activities in the store's catchment's area and take necessary measures
• Oversee commercial policy agreed for the store pricing
• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization and profitability of the department's
• Support comparative studies within section that can contribute to the eficiency of the commercial concepts
• Provide inputs on the price image and freshness image
• Implement the commercial policy agreed upon for the store pricing
• Oversee the product assortment in the section
• Support necessary measures towards continuous growth of the company
• Prepare reports on stock
• Identify slow moving items and stock depreciation to help push their sales before expiry, if applicable
• Implemented visual merchandising guidelines consistently for an appealing store layout that attracted customers'' attention.
• Maintain the goods in the designated areas and keep them in good condition
• Support initiatives to ensure lowest waste and shrinkage ratio
• Control the waste items report
• Support orders and follow up on deliveries
• Follow the set guidelines while supervising the display of new products
