1.supervising the activities of the Guest relation, Front Desk, Bell Service sections.
2.Maintains smooth relationships between management and guests by performing such activities as:
-Meeting guests at the lobby and offering info pertaining to hotel services and facilities.
-Resolving problems arising from guests complaints and attending to their requests or inquiries with dispatch;
-Approving releases of VIP complimentary orders and amenities according to established policy.
-Escorting VIPs to their rooms
-Seeing to the accommodation and transportation of overflow guests in cases of full occupancy.
3-Prepares and checks any of the following when so assigned:
-Daily discrepancy report
-Any reports related to reservation (res. Forecast, travel agent &etc.)
4.Inspects rooms assigned to VIPs and informs House Keeping, F&B of needed repairs, cleaning, fruit basket etc.
5.Inspects the lobby and other guests areas, including parking lots; telephone exchange and informs departments concerned of findings.

Directly supervises all front office personnel and ensures proper completion of all front office duties. Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, guest services, and telephone areas. Prepare monthly reports and budget for front office department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Trains, cross -trains, and retrains all front office personnel. • Participates in the selection of front office personnel. • Schedules the front office staff. • Prepare performance reports related to front office. • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count. Monitor selling status of house daily. Ie flash report, allowance etc. • Prepare revenue and occupancy forecasting. • Monitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requests.
-Supervion of the site and send daiy reports to the head office in Cairo
- Monitor Staff and behiviour and check daily for attendance
1-Be aknowledgeable in all front office standard operating procedures.
2-Train the new staff, and re-train the old staff about the F.O standardes.
3-Maintain a good working relationship and open line of communication with all other department (H.K, F&B, Engeneering&etc.)
4-Verify that accurate room status counts are taken at the proper times and information is relayed to those concerned.
5-Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaits are handled quickly, efficiency and courteaously.
6-Supervise work load during shift.
7-Update group information daily, maintain future group file, monitor and prepare requirements.
8-Continuous control of rooms reports to ensure maximum room revenue.
9-Receive information from previous shift.
10-Responsible for setting proper example at all times in regards to uniforms, and profissionalism.
11-To bring to the attention of the Asst. F.O.MGR all supplies needed for the operation of the F.O.Dept. during next week.
12-To do a spot checking on the police book from time to time.
13-Attends training sessions whenever requested
14-Performs other duties as may be assigned.
