ASC Quality Manager
• Ensuring the implementation of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to maintain the quality at the project.
• Developed the QA/QC documentation for the Project (Manuals, Plans, ITPs, ICLs, Procedures, Inspection Forms and Quality Records) acc. to ISO 9001:2008.
Maintaining and control the quality records for the project through document control section.
• Surveillance for the Verification & Checking of Calibrated Equipment & its Certifications.
• Arrange and ensure the availability of all the relevant latest Approved Documents needed for inspection at the work point, e.g. Drawings, Submittals, Method Statement, ITPs, Manufacturer technical data sheets etc.
• Active helps all employees in understanding and applying the company’s quality system and discusses the workers to understand the procedures.
• Supervision and coordination of the project QA/QC staff to monitor the Inspection of Site activities (WIR) and approved Materials delivered at the Site (MIR) and coordinating with the construction and consultant staff for the Inspection processes.
• Take the preventive action in order to avoid the Non conformities to avoid delays in work and take necessary action to solve any problems.
• Arrange the weekly quality meetings with QC Engineers and Inspectors to discuss quality issues and non-conformances related to the project.
Coordinate and advice the concerned parties before start any new activity at the site.
• Attending project progress biweekly meeting with the Consultant, Main Contractor and Sub-contractors.
• Assist the PM on all quality related issues.
• Review Daily, Weekly & Monthly QC Report and submit to the QA/QC Manager.
• Coordinate and perform inspection WIR and test activities in accordance with relevant ITP, ensuring that completed work is conformant to relevant specification and approved drawings and ready for final inspection by Consultant.
• Perform on site material inspection MIR upon receipt.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with civil/structural and Architecture specification and drawings.
• Verify quality requirements are specified to construction team and
subcontractors and vendors.
• Complete records specified by the Inspection & Test Plans and contract documents, submit to QC Supervisor.
• Identify, document and report on non-conforming items using SBG standard procedures and assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure that „SAFETY‟ is practiced on Site at all times. Any safety hazard noticed shall be immediately reported to the Safety Officer and concerned personnel on Site. Initiate to rectify / clear the safety hazard.
• Receive, inspect and test concrete in coordination with Test Laboratory for sampling.
• Prepare Daily QC Report and submit to the QA/QC Supervisor.
• Coordinating between project departments (Construction, Technical, Quality and Safety) in order to completion site processes as the project schedule.
• Coordination between Sub-contractors, suppliers, Stores, warehouse and accounts, in order to supply material to projects on time.
• Assists with coordination of sub-contractors’ works and invoices.
• Monitoring project progress and staff performance.
• Attending project progress meeting with the consultant.
• Prepare project organization and communication charts.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
• Chair site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Report to the project manager.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Follow up the foremen and surveyors and clarify their daily work programmers.
• Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
• managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client/architect.
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site.
• Preparing reports as required.
• Site engineer perform a technical, organizational and supervisory
role on construction projects and structures involved in
construction operation (Excavation, Reinforced Concrete, Internal
& External Finishing ), Handing over of works to the construction supervisor.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and
monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site
facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Follow up the foremen and surveyors and clarify their daily work
