This is a faculty position to teach and conduct researches in actuarial science.
1) Working as a Lecturer to teach Actuarial Mathematics Modules to for the BSc of Actuarial Science, including: Actuarial Models, Risk Theory, and Financial Mathematics. In addition, supervising tutorials session’s to postgraduate actuarial students.
2) Working as a lecturer to teach Financial Mathematics Modules for the BSc of Applied Mathematics, including: Stochastic Differential Equations, Mathematics of Financial Derivatives, and Credit Risk modeling in Islamic Banking and Finance.
1) Analysing basic pensioners data such as: ages, genders, pension salaries, and opinion questionnaires; by using SPSS and MS Excel.
2) Using statistical concepts and basic mathematical modelling techniques to analyse statistical data in order to estimate retirement rates (and other related rates).
3) Studying contributions rates and considering assumptions for pension scheme liabilities. Evaluate assets and liabilities using VBA, and preparing presentations and evaluations reports.
MSc of Actuarial Science with distinction. I wrote a dissertation about how to manage the Risk of default on General Insurance companies. Courses passed included Statistics, Financial Time Series Analysis, Stochastic Modelling, Survival Models, Financial Mathematics, Life Insurance Mathematics, Financial Economics & Investments, Risk Theory and Economics.
Post Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science (Very Good) Courses passed included Probability & Mathematical Statistics, Actuarial Models, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Mathematics, General Insurance Mathematics, Financial Economics, Finance & Financial Reporting and Bussines Economics.
