Engicon- consultancy department (Head office) - Iraq Division Responsible for two projects in Iraq

1) Project: Engineering Design Services and Construction Oversight Project

Client: Chemonics Iraq - USAID
Position: Project manager
Scope of Work:
-Prepare the final assessment report for each task orders with estimation costs and review bill of quantity.
-Review design plans, specifications, standards, codes, regulations and client requirements.
- Assures that construction works are performed and completed in accordance with the contract documents.
- Conducts surveillance and inspection of the work, monitors the implementation of the Contractor’s quality control program.
-Responsible for coordination between site supervision teams and head office
-Reporting progress and financial plans to Iraq country manager and CEO.
-Conducting progress meetings with client and contractors for discussing technical and financial issues.
-Review and analyze contractors claim, variation orders and provide recommendations to the client.


2) Project: Rehabilitation of Tikrit teaching hospital

Client: UNDP
Position: Project Coordinator

Scope of Works:

-Responsible for review and approve architectural and structural material submittals which will be used for the implementation of the project
- Following up for MEP material submittal with concern engineers.
-Review design plans, specifications, standards, codes, regulations and client requirements. - Responsible for review and approve architectural and structural shop drawing submitted by the contractor.
- Assures that construction works are performed and completed in accordance with the contract documents.
-Reporting progress and financial plans to Iraq country manager and CEO.
-Conducting progress meetings with client and contractor for discussing technical and financial issues of the project.
-Review and analyze contractors claim, variation orders, time extensions and provide recommendations to the client.

Project: Ayla Golf Apartments
Client: Ayla Consultancy and Project management company
Owner: Ayla Oasis development Company
Position: Lead Civil Engineer

Scope of Works:

-Reviewing and approving Structural shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
- Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required.
- Maintain standards of safety and comply with company’s health, safety and environment management system requirements.
-Monitors the Contractor’s receipt inspection of materials arriving on-site.
- Monitors the construction work and work site to ensure compliance with applicable plans, specifications, standards, codes, regulations and requirements.
- Assures that the construction work is performed and completed in accordance with the Contract Documents.
- Conducts surveillance and inspection of the work, monitors the implementation of the Contractor’s quality control program, and coordinates field sampling and testing for verification of quality results as needed.

Project: Qassim Central Power Plant
Client: National Contracting Company
Owner: Saudi Electricity Company
Position: Civil Section Manager

Scope of Works:

- Reviewing drawings, documents and work method statements.
- Determines project specifications, customer requirements, and
performance standards.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and
schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing
procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented
- Evaluate, organise and prioritise workload within a schedule
-Supervising site works and assuring the best quality of work.
-Participating in progress meetings and safety meetings.

Project: Sabic Seawater Cooling Tower.
Position: Civil Site Engineer

Scope of Works:

-Responsible for day by day site work, writing reports.
-Discussing requirements with the client and other professionals.
-Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project.
- Following up and coordination with sub-contractors / suppliers.
-Participating in progress meetings and safety meetings.
-Implementing technical and safety requirements for the project.
-Reviewing drawings and make sure that all site conditions are properly addressed.

Project: Rabigh Power Plant
Position: Civil Site Engineer

Scope of Works:

- Reviewing drawings, documents and work method statements.
-Supervising site works and assuring the best quality of work.
-Participating in progress meetings and safety meetings.
- Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
- Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project.
-Making sure sites meet legal guidelines, and health and safety requirements.

-Supervising finishing works of the 2nd floor and the 3rd floor and construction works of the 4th and 5th floor.
-Reviewing drawings and Quantity Take off.
