Build the case management tools from the scratch and train the staff on it
• Mapping NGOs & INGOs services
• Make sure that the beneficiaries are receiving the needed support from the external parties
• Providing the needed technical support for team
• Review information of service for beneficiaries & Evaluate beneficiaries needs based on a specific criterion
• Draft case/ service plans, review case progress and determine case closure
• Follow up with families through continuous visits and consistent communication making sure services is well
received.
• Design and provide technical guidance on community mobilization and awareness raising messages and activities for
community stakeholders
• Delegate tasks to other team members based on the service type.
• Use all forms designed to the case management sufficiently.
• Identify and provide emergency services for urgent cases.
• Assist the HV Team Coordinator in additional administrative tasks to support Home Visits.
• Participating in program design & the intervention support plan
• Preparing PRs
• Preparing and submitting reports
• Support MEAL department
Provision of training on different topics (Productive health, youth development, gender based violence, life
skills)
Support the delivery of effective programmes, in both development and humanitarian contexts, by:
* Providing technical support to the field teams
* Working with partners to assess needs and/or figure out any corporation option mainly to enhance the any
community services.
* Supporting the ongoing referral systems amongst the different program interventions
* Conducting training & TOTs for the protection & advocacy team regarding the empowerment for the care
givers.
* Ensuring that child protection interventions are informed by and integrated with other core sectors
* Ensuring that Community based Child Protection Committees are established and strengthened
* Initiating and/or carrying out capacity-building for the key staff and specifically who work in child protection in
emergencies, including appropriate child protection approaches; and, through conducting workshop trainings and
mentoring for the implementation actions,
* Providing technical guidance to the implementing team members on different projects of Zaatari camp & urban
areas, this is regarding the physical and social wellbeing of the children,
* Hiring volunteers and staff of the implementation teams
* Providing technical guidance to the implementing team members on advocacy approach and strategies.
* Ensuring that the children are getting the required psychosocial support activities (such as sports, HEART, safe
you safe me, etc) by conducting field visits to all SCJ centers in the camp,
* Ensuring that the safeguarding standards are understood and met by the staff and different actors,
* Ensuring the representation of Save the Children Jordan as CP and right-based organization in Inter-Agency
coordination meetings and national WG when needed in the camp.
Supervise the CFC animators and ensuring that all activities with children, adolescents and parents in CFC are
implemented in an appropriate manner.
* Is responsible for the proper design and monitoring of weekly work plan, registration of children in the CFC,
follow up of equipment and identification/follow up of vulnerable children within the CFC.
* Assist the animators in solving problems arising in the Child and Family Centre's.
* Assist the CFC animators in working with children to develop new, creative activities as appropriate to their
development and psychosocial needs.
* Ensures the participation of all groups of children and adolescents in CFC, especially children who are the most
vulnerable
* Ensures that equipment inventories are up to date and that replacement or procurement needs are timely
highlighted and reported to Project Manager.
* Provides on-the-job supervision and training of CFC animators (including animator volunteers) and if needed
identify and report about additional training requirements to the Child Protection Specialist.
* Ensures an inclusive, safe and child-friendly atmosphere in the Child and Family Centre
* Screens for and monitors protection needs and gaps in and around the Child and Family Centre's
* Assist Community Mobilizers / CFC animators in conducting parents’ session and community meetings
* Assist Community Mobilizers to develop CPC action plans in accordance to the issues affecting children in their
communities
* Compile weekly and monthly reports on describing activities, indicators and lessons learned and ensure timely
submission on the deadlines agreed.
* Ensure that CFC promote linkages with the CPC and other community and youth groups
* Supervises the implementation of SC Child Protection activities at respective district in the camp and ensure
appropriate coordination with other sectors
Conducting mentoring visits for the project which was implementing in CDCs cross Jordan
* Make sure that is the working plan is on track.
* Checking the attendance lists.
* Technical advices for the training implementation regarding my experience and the official manual.
* Submitting reports in a regular basis for the project manager.
* Preparing the graduation ceremony for the participants of the trainings.
* Coordinating communication with the project partners.
Mobilization of the community toward activities related to psychosocial support and vocational training
* In charge of the external referrals to other NGOs & CBOs and Mapping of services available.
* Responsible of child protection Committees creation and provision of capacity building trainings.
* Conducting parents meetings, Awareness sessions /campaigns and surveys about child protection and violence.
* Supervising the program volunteers.
* Provision of trainings for the parents on positive discipline.
* Support the psychosocial team in the different support sessions provided.
