Monitor and report on key environmental KPIs, including water usage and conservation, hazardous waste and general waste management, electricity, water, and air consumption, and CO2 emissions tracking and reduction initiatives. Calculate and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions through the Coca-Cola sustainability portal and directly to OSHCO. Implement sustainable methods to reduce waste generation and improve waste segregation practices. Spread awareness on waste management, air quality, and climate change through targeted campaigns and training programs. Monitor and report workplace safety concerns, including near-miss incidents, safety observations, and radiation exposure and safety measures. Develop and implement a Radiation Protection Plan for radioactive sources. Create and maintain an Emergency Response Plan for radiation-related incidents. Coordinate and advise on annual medical check-ups for workers wearing OSL (Optically Stimulated Luminescence) dosimeter cards. Calibrate OSL devices and radiation monitoring instruments regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with NRRC standards.

Environmental Protection and Monitoring Department - Water Section, Ras Alkhair: Conduct monthly water sampling for analysis and review. Obtain lab results and ensure compliance with RC regulation standards. Check for any exceedances in the results and take necessary actions. Prepare the RC weekly report for ISTP and NEWT water. Manage the monitoring of various discharge channels. Review reports submitted by facilities, such as self-monitoring reports. Provide advice and guidance to air quality, marine, water, and hazardous waste sections to meet RC goals and objectives. Evaluate the impact of pollution on air, water, soil, marine and terrestrial ecology, and other environmentally sensitive areas. Additional Role: Environmental Detection Officer (EDO): Respond to and follow up on chemical spills. Monitor stack emissions to ensure air quality. Ensure no exceedances in air pollution parameters such as HF, NOx, SO2, NO2, and PM10.
