• Implementation of New features/Enhancements for WMS base product.

Project Description
Aircore is a product for an airline reservation system. Aircore handles flights maintenance (passenger flights and cargo flights), seating, and customer handling along with reservation, ticketing and departure. It is a series of new airline passenger solutions created to meet the needs of today’s rapidly changing competitive market. It is based on a suite of platform-independent applications that are designed to easily deployed, extended and modified.
Responsibilities in project
• Involved in Development, Implementation and Integration testing of production and marketing versions of the product.
• Single handedly have solved marketing and production issues in various modules and versions of product worked in.
• Played the role of Quality team lead in the project.
• Involved in configuration management activities.
• Core member of the Aircore LMS (cargo) team. Trained the new team members to work effectively in this version of the product.
As a BSS/Transmission Monitoring Engineer, I am an Expertise in all the activities of BSS related to Alarm Monitoring, Fault Management, Configuration Management, Version Management and Diagnosis Management, O&M and Monitoring of MPLS Router, SDH & PDH Equipments in the Circle, Intracom MW Equipments.I need to monitor all Kerala CDMA wireless networks of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (MTS). Knowledge of ZTE BSS and Intracom Microwave equipments is required for doing the job.
• Trouble shooting of ZXSDRB8200 C100 & ZXSDR R8841 C806, ZTE outdoor BTS power plant, Intracom SDH & PDH \[ISR & IDR\] and to remove all the active BSS alarms from the OMCR end.
• Providing Support to Field engineers in resolving problems that arise during integration phase of network and during O&M operation.
• Configuration Management: Creation of BTS sites at OMCR end, BTS site updating from half E1 to full E1 and wise versa, Addition of new Cells, new cards, carriers, etc.
• Diagnosing different units at BSS including BTS cards Using NetNumen and Monitoring the BSC including E1 Flux observations, A-bis link Test, ping test, Checking of Link imbalance of each sector, Checking and Calibration of RF transmission power, doing LOOP/BREAK testing for E1, etc.
• ECI NMS - Integration of NE, Creation of NE, Cross connect/Add Drop and Regenerative nodes, Ports Configuration, Applying protection schemes, troubleshooting network issues, and alarms in ECI EMS and NMS having more than 1300 NE’s.
• Provisioning of VC12, VC4, VC3 and Ethernet Circuits(EoS) in NMS.
• MUX insertion and removal, and adding cards to MUX in EMS & NMS.
• Provisioning E1’s for POI, Ater and Inter MSC, BSC rehoming, Site reparenting, loop splitting, Loop protection, Fiber integration to nodes, GBoIP integration and upgradation of BSC’S, OSSoIP integration for BSC’S, E1 routing for the site, VLAN configuration of CISCO switch for GBOIP implementation for BSC’s etc.
• Ceragon NMS (CeraMap) - Integration of Ceragon IDU in to Ceragon NMS, Frequency changing of IDM and Maintenance of Ceragon Microwave SDH nodes and fetching reports based on the configuration and Interference monitoring, provide technical support to Field engineers for Implementation and Maintenance of ceragon MW link.
