• Conceptualize the detailed project reports; project execution program after thorough discussion with clients, site selection, project evaluation in terms of outlay & profits attached.
• Plan strategically as per project master schedule of project execution.
• List down the resource needs for projects, after considering the budgetary parameters set.
• Monitor/Discuss project status; review during the course of periodic project review meetings.
• Co - ordination with project sites, Head office, design sections, supply chain, sub vendors, consultants and clients.
• Construction planning, man power / resource management and execution.
• Identify critical activities of site and monitor of those.
• Identify & develop alternate vendor/contractor source for achieving cost effective execution of site activities & timely delivery of entire project work so as to minimize project cost.
• Ensure that construction materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality.
• Complying with the quality & HSE requirements of the client and statutory bodies.
• Timely completion of projects.
• Supervision at controlled area of civil works (Survey, Soil Investigation, Access Road and Platform construction, Open and Pile Foundation, Pile Capping), Erection (crane and derrick gin pole) & stringing activities.
• Weekly HSEQ review meeting participation; JMC & Bill certification.
• Supervision of Soil Investigation, Construction of Access Roads and Tower Foundation.
• Engineer In-Charge for Stringing of Conductor and OPGW and Tower Erection (Crane & Derrick Pole Erection).
• Preparation of Proper Drum Schedules of Conductor & OPGW; Ensuring Minimum Wastage.
• Responsible for requesting and taking Outages.
• Carried out Rectification and Maintenance Works such as Sag Adjustment, Insulator Replacement, Hardware Fittings and Accessories Replacement.
• Proper Planning of Manpower and Equipment Movements, Gang Separation to ensure No Idling of Man Power and Equipment occurs.
• Providing Important Details Such as coordinates, Power Line Crossings, Road Crossings and Safety Clearances for Plan & Profile Designing and Tower Spotting.
• Review and Verification of Technical Drawings and Documents such as Plan & Profile Drawing, Foundation Design, Tower Structural Drawings, Sag-Tension Chart, General Technical Particulars (GTP's) Of All Line Materials and Responsible for Getting Timely Approval for The Same from Client.
• Supervising the ERS (Emergency restoration system) works, where ever required.
• Measurement of Tower Footing Resistance and Finalizing the Type of Earthing System to be adopted.
• Measurement of Conductor Contact Resistance (Mid Span Joints & Dead End Clamps).
• Testing of Overhead Line Coexisting of Various Tests Such as Continuity Test, Phase Sequence Test, Line Performance and Quality Check, Insulation Resistance Test etc.
• Calculation of Important Line Parameters such as Zero/Positive & Negative Sequence Impedance and Admittance which is required for S/S Protection System.
