• Perform routine testing on mud samples from our bases
• Perform routine testing on completion fluids
• Mixing and testing of water and oil based drilling fluids
• Perform all API tests on drilling fluids.
• Labeling and storing chemicals in the lab, also including the maintenance of the record and discharge of expired chemicals.
• Pack and send onshore / offshore laboratory equipment.
• Field Testing Equipment and Chemicals
• Maintain equipment calibration/repair schedule.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of testing equipment in the database.
• Provide rapid response to requests for testing equipment and chemicals to Oilfield personnel.
• Maintain adequate inventory of replacement parts, supplies for test equipment and chemicals
• Provide mud QA/QC testing for chemicals and equipment to field personnel
• Provide rapid and accurate response to mud-related field inquiries.
• Evaluation and recommendations of new mud systems.
• Formulation of fluids with specific physical and chemical characteristics
• Maintain up-to-date MSDS information on database.
• Work on Dynamic Linear Swell Meter, Permeability Plugging Tester PPT, Brook Field Programmable Viscometer, Sand Bed Tester, PSD
project in acrylic ester polymer
