• Manage, plan & control the Custody and Clearing business for HSBC in Mauritius, achieving maximum efficiency and productivity whilst providing high quality services to clients.
• Monitor and review all Custody & Clearing operations whilst ensuring that all procedures are being diligently followed. Conduct immediate investigation on weaknesses, initiate corrective action and introduce improved measures.

• Acting as primary contact for clients, conducting service reviews with clients, specifically high profile Foreign Institutional clients, on an annual basis through visits and calls.
• Maintain regular contacts with other participants in the Securities industry to enable accurate and quick dissemination of information acquired from industry group meetings and newspapers.
• Cultivate good working relationships with regulators, the depository and other market participants and provide consultative advices through sharing of best practices.
