• Coordinate with the child’s parent about the child’s illness, medicine, etc
• Provide first aid to children in case of accidents
• Prepare and keep records of all incidents
• Prepare medical files for each child and coordinate with the Registration Office and class teacher
• Keep track of children’s vaccinations
• Check all first aid kits regularly
• Receives patients that are discharged from hospital for continuous rehabilitation and care at home.
• Assisting bed ridden patients. Makes use and care of tracheostomy tube and PEG tube with sterility.
• Reports to the physician with regards of the patient’s condition.
• Monitor the patient’s condition by checking the vital signs and other significant data.
• Renders assistance in doing daily activities for the patient such as exercise and morning care.
• Assist the healthcare team when the patient is admitted in the hospital.
• Provides a comfortable environment.
• Assists patients in the emergency room. Accumulate patient’s history and relevant data.
• Provides care utilizing the nursing process.
• Observe hospital rules and regulation and coordinate with other department and staff for harmonious relationship.
• Accompany patient and family when being transferred to specialized hospital. Responsible for the endorsement of patient’s condition.
