At Zagol Travel, I hold a pivotal role as a Full-Stack Developer and Team Lead. I spearheaded the development of a mobile flight booking app and an administration portal for exchange booking and ticketing. Additionally, I successfully integrated our systems with various travel portals, streamlining booking processes and enhancing user experience. This comprehensive approach, encompassing both front-end and back-end development, has demonstrably improved travel booking efficiency for Zagol Travel.
In my previous role at Amhara Bank, I was recognized for my outstanding contributions by being awarded a Best Employee Certificate. I had the opportunity to develop a mobile banking application using the Flutter framework. This application prioritizes security with end-to-end encryption and empowers users with a self-onboarding feature. It boasts a comprehensive suite of functionalities, which you can explore by downloading the app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Additionally, I possess experience developing secure web applications utilizing Next.js. These solutions have empowered companies to manage their finances, process salary payments, and facilitate other financial transactions. Furthermore, I played a key role in modernizing the bank's infrastructure by configuring Docker containerization across its servers. I also implemented WSO2 Micro Integrator and WSO2 API Management Gateway to streamline data flow and API management. Beyond these technical contributions, I developed an issue tracking system and a CRM-enabled website using React, demonstrating my ability to deliver user-centric solutions.
I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Arba Minch University, where I was awarded the gold medal for achieving the highest score on campus. This experience instilled in me a love for development and a passion for creative problem-solving. I further honed my skills by competing in the Huawei Innovation track, where I secured second place. Through presenting numerous projects, I gained valuable knowledge in Linux system administration, security, and more than four different development stacks. These projects also fostered the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
