Tasks and responsibilities: • Review data entered to determine the need for /or recommend and plan installation of new systems or modification of an Existing system.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Review software documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks.
• Advise customer about, or perform maintenance of software system.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Write technical specifications for Medical Insurance systems, software and applications.
• Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements and resolve customer problems.
• Confer with users to define or implement medical system requirements such as data release formats.
• Answer calls professionally.
• Respond to customer inquires.
• Handle and resolve customer complains.
• Provide customers with required information.
• Coordinate out-patient, In-patient and day care benefits include hospital accommodation pre-authorizations.
