We are seeking services of Social Organizers to initiate and manage social mobilization process of the Education project “Beyond Curriculum - Ensuring access to quality primary education for 10 schools through Alternate Disciplines” at the community level to effectively involve men, women, and youth in the various activities of the Project. The Social Organizers will work under the overall supervision of Project Coordinator at district office Jhang.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordination with school administration, community stakeholder, local counterparts, and partners for effective and timely project implementation
Facilitate information and knowledge management.
DETAILS OF KEY FUNCTIONS:
Social mobilization
Plan social mobilization activities in the context of the project log frame and targets set aligned with project work plan.
Provide input in the development of terms of partnership to be signed with the communities for participation in the project activities,
Initiate social mobilization process and facilitate the project communities to organize themselves in shape of community organizations (male and female).
Identify and establish of community groups, and members of Parent Teachers Association (PTAs) in targeted area.
Facilitate school enrollment campaign with support of different activities, to ensure the targeted number of enrollments within project duration.
Facilitate participatory planning and implementation process for identification of school’s infrastructure needs and construction of prioritized infrastructure.
Initiate and support different extracurricular activities in schools as per planned in project.
Facilitate school administration in carrying out school health assessment of children.
Support COs to build their capacities in CO management, planning and monitoring, conflict resolution, and promoting social harmony in the community.
Provide input for preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports on the field activities highlighting achievements and bottlenecks.
Coordination
Coordinate with project coordinator, MEAL, Operations and HR department for integrated and coordinated activities in the field.
Support and coordinate with different implementing partners of government department in carrying out studies, assessments, and trainings.
Support the community organizations to establish their linkages with the local authorities and other development actors to improve the social services in the area.

The M&E Officer will be responsible for reviewing, monitoring and reporting of the field activities conducted by the SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing initial drafts of monthly, quarterly and yearly reports to be submitted to the Global Fund, according to specified guidelines.
The incumbent will carry out regular field monitoring visits to the project sites according to the comprehensive M&E Plan, and will ensure that all Program activities are being carried out in line with the operational and M&E guidelines.
The incumbents shall support the PR unit for day to day grant management
Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible to conduct monthly work plans review submitted by implementing partners in comparison to the SOCIAL ORGANIZERS wise targets and Performance Framework.
- Coordination with SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs with regard to timely submission of request and reconciliation of R&R tools, project assets and other IEC material
- Participate in SOCIAL ORGANIZERS staff meeting, prepare and present presentation of PR unit and finalize minutes of meeting, follow up with SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs on given timeline
- Carry out field monitoring visits in line with the M&E Plan to ensure that the data collection tools are properly used in field and data entry is being done on required formats/systems following deadlines
- Provide on-site technical support and capacity building to field teams for implementation of project activities.
- Prepare field monitoring reports within four working days of returning from the field. Ensure that the monitoring reports are sent to the SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs after appropriate review and finalization. Follow up with SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs in this regard and update important issues in issue log
- Conduct follow up of the recommendations made in the previous visits
- Conduct desk review of MPRs and QR/ supporting documents and provide timely feedback to SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs address identified issues
- Responsible to submit reviewed report/data from assigned SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs to data management unit after addressing the highlighted issues
- Follow-up with SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs on a regular basis to ensure timely achievement of targets in line with the monthly work plans of the SOCIAL ORGANIZERSs
- Review, verify, cross-check, the monthly and quarterly reports and prepare feedback at the reports in consultation with the Senior M & E Officer and Senior Coordinator Monitoring
- Responsible for compiling and analyzing data and developing summary reports and share with PR unit
- Support to PR unit in GF, LFA, CCM and other review missions
- Document case studies and success stories and prepare and/or contribute to development of various project documents
- Follow all policies and procedure of AGHE Pakistan including Safety & Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Any other task or responsibility assigned by the Senior M&E Officer and Senior Project Coordinator
