Duties & Responsibility:
Head Office and Factory in Dubai - Alquoz :
• Windows Server Managing and troubleshooting: Windows Server 2003/2008 with company needs services such as (Domain Controller, DNS, DHC, Exchange Server, Citrix XApp Server, Backup Server, ISA Server and web filter, Application Server, Terminal Server, and Antivirus server).
• Computers & Users: Mange to support 80 users in the head office and 27 branches all over UAE using all company applications such as (Windows XP/Windows7/ Windows 8/ Mac computers, Exchange mail service through MS outlook 2003/2007/2010, Application SQL service/ Secure file sharing and daily backup.
• Networking: managing and support Head Office LAN and connectivity with all branches all over UAE with VPN using Juniper Firewalls. Services and application management using HR applications, POS system, Email System, and Databases.
Network System Administrator:
Duties & Responsibility:
- Support and maintain platforms including:
• Domain Servers: Windows 2003 Active Directory Server; DNS; DHCP; GPO
• Application Servers: MS Exchange & SMTP server 2007; MS ISA & Proxy server; V-sphere 4.1 servers; Antivirus server
• Operating Systems: Windows XP/Vista/7; MAC OS
• Network Protocols: TCP/IP
• Network Equipment: Cisco switches, routers, and firewall
- Manage and support all technology needs for students, faculty and staff:
• Configure and install hardware and software school-wide
• Manage, upgrade and/or repair of existing hardware
• Keep all staff informed of operational aspects of the network
• Support all network applications school-wide
- Facilitate the integration of technology school-wide by:
• Providing training and support for staff and students
• Installing, implementing, supporting and training for the use of educational software and hardware included, but not limited to: Smart Boards; Projectors; Document Cameras; Lab applications; etc.
Duties & Responsibility:
• Taught 2nd -5th grade Technology classes aimed at developing technological awareness and skills
• Integration of British and American curricula
• Pre-k and Elementary IT advisor responsible for school IT equipment, curriculum, and troubleshooting computer labs
IT Specialist:
Duties & Responsibility:
• Installed, configured and upgraded operating systems and software using primarily standard financial, business and administrative application practices.
• Monitored the computers in classes, offices, labs and Library
• Provided skills necessary for troubleshooting and solving hardware and software problems school-wide
• Provided instruction for faculty and students on new or upgraded computer applications and hardware.
• Respond to service calls/emails; diagnose and correct equipment failure and malfunctions; replace malfunctioning equipment.
• Maintain accurate and current records on repair, installation and removal of equipment; provide appropriate logging and tracking of use of supplies. Maintain inventory of equipment.
• Assist in the development of long range planning for new projects and computer hardware needs. Provide technical guidance, training and support to students, faculty and staff.
