Modulators, Router.
2- Tandberg Multiplexers MEM, nCC, Encoders, Modulator,
3- Tandberg Re-mux TT705
4- Thomson Multiplexers, XMS server, Encoders, Modulators
* Receiving feeds from different satellites
* Transmitting feeds to different satellites
* Operation, monitoring, and maintaining the video and audio functions of the Master Control Room
* Coordinating and organizing global satellite transmission
* Operating on Tandberg SNG and Andrew (Advent) uplink system
* Responsibility of transmission / re-transmission more than 200 TV’s services and 45 Radio’s services
* Experience of MPEG2/ MPEG4/ ASI/ SD/ HD/ SDI/ IP format
* Maintain on-air signal, manually switch to back-up systems during an emergency on-air outage situation
* Tuning dish antennas using azimuth and elevation
* Responsible for configuring any services on five bouquets of Arabsat 4B, three bouquets of Arabsat 6A, two bouquets of Arabsat 5A, three bouquets of NileSat 201, one bouquet of NileSat 102, two bouquets of Nilesat 107, two bouquets of Asiasat, one bouquet of Hotbird and two bouquets on Yahsat
* Responsible for configuring multiplexers for any new stream (FTA and Encrypted)
* Responsible for configuring backup system for all streams
* Responsible for configuring GHOST for the streams servers
* Using NMX software from Harmonic Company to configure multiplexers, cherryPicker and Prostream
* Using MEM, Access criteria and N-compass (nCC) software from Tandberg Company to configure multiplexers
* Stream analysis using (Tandberg/ Harmonics stream analyzers)
* Using Leitch, technologies like multiplexing cards, Pilot software to improve the quality of the video and control the audio
* Installation of exchanges, Intercoms, and Fax machines
* Overall programming, maintenance and customer care
