• On and off-site 3D scanning of spare parts using laser 3D Scanners.
• Utilize surface and solid modelling in Solidworks and Geomagic Design X on the mesh data to generate CAD models and technical drawings.
• Utilize precision metrology instruments to identify spare parts features and measurements.
• Led and supervised a team of junior engineers and interns in the DfAM, 3D scanning and reverse engineering processes.
• Led a team in Modelling standard parts and effectively utilized Solidworks Design Tables and Excel sheets to increase productivity.
• Led the efforts in the reverse engineering in the product design process using Structured-Light 3D scanning and Fusion 360.
• Managed AM lab, materials and machines, and analyze different materials and testing for different additive manufacturing configurations.
• Participated in the installation of metal AM machine and prepare the installation plans and requirements.
• Design, prototype, and test new concepts for development of UAVs and maintain technical compatibility to develop concepts into real products.
• Effectively utilized and demonstrate working knowledge of CAD for sustaining and improving design work.
• Conducted FEA studies stress analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and generative design simulations for the verification of the designs.
• Participated in the preparation of effective proposals, presentations, demonstrations on business development opportunities.
Tasks:
- Modifying the layout of the Abrasive Cleaning Area.
- Contribute in the establishment of the First Article
Qualification of the C130 propellers project.
