1 - Kharafi Cham For Utilities Development Co.(MARAFEQ)
About the Company :
A Kuwaiti-Syrian JV lead by Kharafi national-Kuwait and Cham Holding-Syria established late 2008 with the capital of 100 M USD to develop private power stations IPP, waste-water treatment plants (WWTP) on BOOT basis, CHP, DC&HP and other urban utilities.
The company worked on developing the first IPP project in Syria and waste water treatment Plants
Due to the political situation the projects hibernated

Possetion :
Head Business Development & Management Consultant (for the company and the Chairman)

Responsibilities :
a- Creation and implementation the strategic plan for the company
b- Looking for new business Opportunities and growth in the market
c- Auditing the visibility studies and Financing for the projects
d- Supervise the relation between the company and the government
- we helped the Syrian government on establishing the PPP (Public Private Partnership) Law
- establishing the electricity Law in Syria which Released in 2012

Since September 2011 I Became a Member of Board of directors

2- Syrian Exporters Federation (SEF)
About the Federation :
established by Law 27/Year 2009 and enjoys a legal status and financial and administrational independence, according to valid laws and regulations of the private sector in Syria.
The Federation aims at the following:
1. Represent exporters, adopt their cases domestically and abroad, and protect their interests.
2. Organize the exports work, develop and promote exports.
3. Contribute to the development of organizational, administrational and legal environments that enhance the competitively of Syrian exports.
4. Raise the marketing capacities of exporters.

the Relation between the SEF and the ministry of economy and some of my works :
a- Creating and Managing the MOU (Memory Of Understanding) signed between SEF And ICIEC (the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investments and Export Credit) Jeddah - K.S.A
b- Creating and Managing the MOU signed between SEF and TIM (Turkish Exporters Federation) for supporting the SEF
c- Preparing the Basic Law of the federation
