For 3 months, where I gained knowledge in CCTV (closed circuit
television), intrusion detection, SMATV (satellite master antenna
television), and PA (public address).
Being part of an implementation team of Telecom Microwave equipment, of the brands ZTE, and Alcatel-Lucent, the training I made focused on Microwave links, and Base Transceiver Stations.
While working _discontinuously_ around 11 months +, I performed the following tasks:
Handling quotations & pricing of several projects by acquiescing to system specs.
Recommending the contractor in specific system details in order to meet system requirements.
Evaluating and fixing projects shop drawings and risers using Autocad.
Working on field in order to provide the system normal.
Programming the system to provide system functionality according to specs, and convenient system functionality.
Graduated with a "good" grade. Thesis subject: Inter-cell interference coordination in LTE networks through dynamic frequency reuse. Taught subjects were: Cryptography, queuing, network dimensioning, fixed and mobile communication network architecture, low layer and network architecture, advanced fixed and mobile telecom architecture, mobile radio planning, advanced TCP/IP, multimedia and QoS, security, networks and telecommunications services.
Graduated Engineer from the Lebanese University, faculty of engineering. Obtained Degree: Electrical-Electronics Engineer, Computer & Telecommunication Specialization, which is equivalent to a Master of Engineering Degree. Electricity Domain: Electrical Installation, Electrotechnics, Machinery, Automation. Electronics Domain: Electronics, Power Electronics, Instrumentation Research Projects: Spectrum calculation for IMT 2000 & IMT-advanced, VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol), sensors, Operational Research, Network App (DNS).
