Hobbies

  • Reading
I have read many books through college. Topics included business communication, negotiations, NLP, psychology, philosophy, etc. Best book I read on strategy consulting was "BCG on Strategy, 2nd edition". I also solved business cases from Marc Cosentino's Case in Point book.
  • Mixed Martial Arts
I love to watch and learn techniques used in Jiu-Jitsu, and how a smaller opponent can subdue a bigger one through technique (i.e. order). I usually practice these techniques with my friends. As an accomplishment, I won a gold medal in the Lebanese Karate Championship - Fighting Section. That was during school time.
  • Programming / Projects
Recently I turned my Note 4 into a universal remote controller, by hacking the infrared codes of all home's appliances using my arduino. At work I devised a full-takeoff automation project using LISP and .net Object-ARX codes. This project tabulates each counted system in an excel sheet, with images and legend description besides each block. We used it at tendering several contracting projects.
