Review and study various insurance proposals
* Gathering and assessing background information of clients
* Calculating possible risk and deciding how much individuals or organizations should pay for
insurance (the premium)
* Deciding whether the risk should be shared with a re-insurer.
* Computing results for appropriate premiums using actuarial information, other statistics and own
judgment
* Examine records such as the applicant's financials and condition to help determine the degree of
risks the company will assume if the applications are approved.
* Responsible for all the technical decisions of department for the new and renewal business.
* Liaising with specialists such as surveyors or doctors for risk assessment
* Prepare and keeping detailed records for Financial investigation report of clients having risk more
than 10million
* Prepare medical and financial information sheet of clients for re-insurer(Munich-re)
* Prepare doctors appointment letter and requirement letter for new doctors appointment
* Authorized for Issuance limit of cases up-to 7 million and countersign limit of cases up-to 9
million
* Authorized to trained and guide new employees regarding life underwriting procedure within
department
* Keeping detailed records of policies underwritten and decisions made.
* Authorized for checking and signing of Policy documents
