• Managing a corporate client portfolio of USD 500mn with diversified business interests (Contracting, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Trade).
• Preparation of project cash flows, structuring general and specific limits. Ensuring optimal utilization of Funded / Non-funded limits and timely preparation of credit proposals for new and existing facilities.
• Continuous scanning of market for seeking opportunities and referring potential leads to decision makers.
• Regularly reviewing client portfolio to extract funded and trade business as well as targeting cross sell for maximizing yield and ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
• Managing a corporate client portfolio of 10 clients focusing on optimizing the revenue/risk equation of the portfolio.
• Acting as the primary interface between the bank and the corporate customers. Marketing bank’s financial products and services to potential and existing corporate clients. Regularly visiting the client portfolio to ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
• Conducting risk management, industrial, management and financial statement analysis to determine fund based and non-fund based credit limits for financing capital expenditures and working capital financing. Initiating and devising Credit Proposals, Credit Memorandums and Financial Spreadsheets.
• Ensuring the completion of legal documentation requirements including Legal/Equitable Mortgage, Hypothecation Charges, Personal Guarantees and Insurance.
- Conducting Due Diligence of bank’s potential and existing credit customers (mainly corporate above PKR 100m).
- Assist the Chief Risk Officer in evaluation of credit proposals on pan-Pakistan basis.
- Supervising a team of credit analysts
- Conducting Project Site Visits for Evaluation
- Specializing in Project Finance (Power Generation, Steel Mills, Textile units, Telecommunication, Cement etc.)
- Asset Liability Committee (ALCO) Reporting
- Industry Concentration reports for FBL Board Meetings
- Training of new management trainee batches in risk and credit policy.
I report directly to Management in Dubai for project related queries. Responsible for setting company goals and directions for handling software and media projects, lead a team of 10 people to deliver multiple projects on schedule and find new ways to optimize processes, improve workflow and management of team keeping the stakeholders' interest on top.
