My Doctoral studies are on Education and Human Development focused on Educational Leadership and Management. This program represents a major achievement and advancement in the history of higher education in Japan, addresses the demand for highly qualified educational leaders and advisors. Modern society has experienced dramatic changes due to internationalization, the development of information technology, and the rapid aging of the population. Within the context of societal change, it is important to recognize academic issues and themes pertaining to these changes, and to nurture graduates who have acquired the independence and imagination necessary to actively pave the way to the new age. Societal demand for the academic disciplines of education and human development sciences has been growing, and in response to this demand, the Graduate School of Education and Human Development of Nagoya Uniersity is actively engaged in research and education, which are seen to promote a global perspective and deep human understanding. These studies prepared me with the necessary skills and tools to serve in the society as an advisor for educational organizations. My professional objective is to generate the correct mechanisms for strengthening life-long education and human development by examining lifestyle, culture, work at school, home, community, and workplaces. This includes the design and preparation of new tools that enable closing communication gaps.
