- 1996 Engineering focal point during the ‘17th GCC Head of State Summit, Dec .7 -9, 1996’
member of the Organizing Committee, responsible for the summit venue. Attended 6 months
series planning meetings (before event-during event- after event) of various government
agencies, hotel’s other departments & General Manager.
- Submitted event ‘Emergency/Crisis Plan’ to my Chief Engineer for his approval & distributed
E/CP electronic-printed copies to stakeholders 5 months before the event. The summit was
completed with great success & I was one of the few that received a commemorative wrist
watch Award by the 17th GCC Head of State Summit 1996 ’ organizing committee.
